Mental Health

Our outpatient mental health clinic provides consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being, including post traumatic stress disorder, depression, alcohol and substance abuse, stress reduction, smoking cessation, and telemental health services.  Mental health services are also available at the Charleston and Prestonsburg Clinics. Pharmacy

Our pharmacy processes more than 1000 prescriptions daily. Prescriptions may be refilled by mail, phone, or online. Read more about our pharmacy program.

Returning Veterans

The Huntington VA Medical Center wants to help all recently discharged veterans or reservists make easy transitions from the military to the VA healthcare system.  Read more about our returning veterans programs.

Same Day Surgery

Most surgeries at VAMC Huntington are now done on an outpatient basis.  This means that you may come to the medical center, have surgery, and go home all in the same day.

Social Work

Spinal Cord Injury

Our spinal cord injury team is made up of members who are knowledgeable about the treatment of spinal cord injuries and disorders such as multiple sclerosis.

Women's Health
